THEN

The foundation of Melton's career helms from designer + contemporary retail sales, visual merchandising, and window display installation. After formidable internships + an education -- fashion PR with Concrete PR (London) + People's Revolution (NYC); archival preservation (Daks Simpson, UK), undergraduate studies in Fashion Merchandising (MU), and international studies at London College of Fashion -- a fashion career was a natural progression. Thereafter, he launched his career in handbag product development and showroom coordination, flourishing in many aspects including overseeing all aspects of overseas production, manufacturing, leather procurement, quality control and pre+post production.

Melton eventually transitioned into a career as a stylist 1st assistant to fashion stylist, Caroline Titcumb (formerly of British Vogue), for 6 years. In 2014, Melton moved on to begin building as a lead stylist for commercial clients, first shooting with Victor Demarcherlier for Victoria Secret.

NOW

Melton currently works as a freelance stylist + creative consultant in NYC. In addition, his experience has led him to work in the costumes department as an assistant costume designer, costume coordinator, and set costumer for Union based television and film projects.
